#SPANISH WORDS APP HOW TO#

Re Latin American/Castilian: Could you tell me what words made you think this? Where I have been aware of words being different in Latin American and Castilian I have chosen the Castilian version. I think a physical action such as speaking/writing/typing is essential to learning things, and it's very difficult to memorize anything just by thinking alone. Perhaps I am using Anki wrong, but it seems that for a lot of the card decks you only have the option to press "Show Answer" and it doesn't ask you to type in the answer. Also, I would have a tendency just to say ach I know it well enough and hit 4days when I don't know it that well, but with Memoriser all of that is handled by the app so you can't be lazy. For me this is important, because there are a lot of times between 10mins and 4days and once you really know something even 4days is too often. Anki just gives you the option to choose 1min 10min 4day. My app automatically schedules your recalls at varying times depending on when you answered things correctly and incorrectly and how much you are getting things right in general. After using it for a little bit it seems there are some differences. Re Anki: Honestly, I wasn't aware of Anki. So I have been splitting the words into smaller categories, but haven't finished yet. I tested the app with a ~1000 long list of Spanish words but didn't want to put a massive memory pack like this in the final app.

I hope you find Memorizer useful as I have done, and if you have any suggestions I would be very happy to hear them.Įdit: Reason I learned 1000 Spanish words despite there only 650 being in the app. You can add any words you like manually, but the 650 Spanish words are in built-in "memory packs" to save you the hassle.

The app currently has just over 650 Spanish words, and more are coming soon. Now I get infrequent notifications and I still remember all the words. I just recalled the words when the app asked me to and that was it. I managed to learn around 1000 new Spanish words in two weeks with this app, and it didn't feel like that much effort. It works by testing you on words frequently at first, then the more you recall them correctly the less frequently you are tested. Hope it is okay that I post it here, it's free and I think it's really good for learning Spanish.
